Licence to Perform Dogging (CPCCLDG3001A) is a unit based on the requirements of the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work and provides applicants with the knowledge and skills required to obtain a High Risk Licence to Perform Dogging duties.

This unit specifies the outcomes required for slinging techniques and the selection and inspection of lifting gear as well as directing the crane/operator in the safe movement of loads for licencing purposes.

  • Select and inspect lifting equipment
  • Determining Load Weight & SWL
  • Attach and secure load
  • Shift Load including directing, manoeuvring Load to different locations
  • Unplanned and or Unsafe Situations
  • Inspect and separate defective equipment
  • Reporting procedures
  • Shutdown & Secure site
Requirements
  • You will require a Unique Student Identifier (USI)
  • You Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • You will be required to conduct mathematical calculations throughout this course
  • You must understand and speak the English language at a level that enables the safe performance of high risk work
  • You must supply 100 points of identification, including (1) form of current photo identification and proof of NSW address
  • Wear comfortable and practical clothing and enclosed footwear
  • Tea and Coffee & Lunch is provided (If course is held at our facility)
  • A passport photo is required when you lodge your HRW Licence application with Australia Post
  • Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the commencement of training

$50 non-refundable fee as part of booking

5 X 7 Hour days.

Must be minimum of 18 years of age.

Delivered in Partnership with Achieve Training (RTO 90659)

You will apply for your High Risk Work (HRW) Licence at Australia Post. A passport photo is required.
